You Can't Have It All

But you can have the yellow sunset
on a Sunday morning shining
trough your window as warm as a Goodnight kiss.
You can have the lick of a small Yorkshire
at 5 a.m. to let you know the day has started.
You can have the barks of a dog at night and the
bite of upset hamster that thinks he
should get a bigger cage, and when school starts,
you can have friends to laugh with 24/7, remember
you are never alone.
You can have love, but it might not
always be easy to understand like do
fishes drink water?
You can have a warm, soft
shoulder to lean on when the world
seems to crash down.
You can learn different languages, it
might be compelicated
but nothing in life is easy.
You can wish something didn't happen,
but never regret anything on life.
You can't live in the past, but remember
because memories are vivid dreams
of what you wish would have happened. And you
can be grateful to the people, who
no matter what have always been there
for you, the way they tell you what you want to
hear, how their hugs are infinite, how you
love them and they love you no
matter what. You can have a fantasy,
the fantasy of ruling the world, everyone kneeling
to your feet and nobody hating you.
You can have secret admirers, love letters,
kisses, and the endless chocolates
on holidays. You cant count the
grains of sand on a beach, but
you will always have a friend there
to try it with you.
You can dream.
You can love.
You can hate.
You can kiss.
but never give up, life gives you up and
downs, but life is a God gift to you.
To enjoy it and live it the way you wish it.

Drink and Drive, Dont Do it.

Description

For some people drinking might just be a fun thing to do at partys, to stay cool... To others it may cost their lives. Don't drink and drive. To some people driving and having one beer on the way might not be dangerous... For others it might cost their lives. Don't drink and drive. You can not only hurt yourself but also others, think before you act.

South Beach - Benjamin Moore - 2043-50

She walked
a long the beach
Louie Vitton bag
and Big Couch sunglasses.

It was a Saturday
the day she would never forget.
Her perfect body,
her amazing eyes,
her impressive green bathing suit,
she was a Goddess.

The night fell upon her
and she fell upon,
tall, tanned, tough guys
surrounded her like a small
sinless, sweet, cub lost between trees.

Her innocence made her blind.
Clothes thrown,
Messy hair,
Alcohol on her breath,
promises made,
in the heat
of the moment.

One night
it was all it took,
four green walls around her,
her feet touching the
cold white floor,
sitting on a toilet with
the water running,
"my parent will think im showering"
thats how easy it
was for her.
Two lines on a small screen.
Her life had
just began.

Hiding the pregnancy test
was a maze.
Nights crying,
regret all over her,
never knowing about that once
flawless guy
destroyed a perfect girls life,
all on a Saturday night.

Go Ask Alice by Anonymous

Publisher: Prentice Hall

Genre: Bildungsroman (coming-of-age); drug-alcohol; Non-Fiction Diary

Where I got it: My friend Danelia Martinez recommended this book for me, then I got it from my school's library.

One sentence summary: Alice is a girl who starts writing a diary, with daily entries, throughout the book Alice talks about drugs, pregnancy, alcohol issues…etc. Further on the book the consequences of her actions are shown, this is a book based on facts.

First sentence: Yesterday I remember thinking I was the happiest person in the whole earth, in the whole galaxy, in all of God's creation.

First chapter review: Since my book is on date entries I'm going to talk about the first month, which is September, in this month Alice is just a regular girl. She makes 6 entries. She first talks about her boyfriend dumping her and how she feels like her world is all destroyed, she doesn't do anything on her birthday which was the September 20th. That's mostly all that happens on that month.

Verdict: I totally recommend this book to everyone who is interested on this topic. There might be some harsh scenes but it can really help out someone who is in trouble, in the future. This book is a really interesting and amazing book, you wont get tired of it until you finish reading it.

Cover comments: The cover is all black with half of a face on the right side probably Alice, this cover shows the darkness of Alice's life because of the black color, in the picture the girl seems to be sad it might be because in several parts of the book Alice shows her regret.

"He Found Himself"

He found himself,
between the hair and the violence
between the water and the dirt.
Ralph dislikes flicking his tangled
long hair.
He began to trot

He needed to thing,
Ralph smiled jeeringly
then turned and walked back
He walked faster
then began to trot

Ralph fell into the strange mood
of speculation
What was a face?
What was anything?
Ralph had to think,
to be wise.

He found himself
in the occasion that you
have to grab a decision.
Time was passing
He wished to listen, not speak
but listen.

We need an assembly
with no mistakes
no chasing imagenary
no fun
but business

He was searching
his mind,
not for fun
not for laughing
not for falling of a log.
What was anything?

He found himself
point by point
scared.
He started walking faster
then began to trot.
